Hello hello... we recently went to this delightful place for the famous Korean corn dog hype. We can proudly say that it's worth it!

During a visit to Seattle's International District, my kids and I wanted to sample as much as possible. Our second stop was Chung Chun and I'm so glad we went. We have tried a frozen Korean corn dog before but it was only so-so and I knew we needed to try the real thing. We ordered two cheese dogs, one plain, full mozzarella, the other one full-mozzarella but with potatoes on the outside and a dusting sugar. Omg they were so good! The plain one suited by son's tastebuds because he really is a plain-Jane. It was nice and hot with ooey-gooey cheese pulls. I chose the potato-crusted dog with the sugar that gave it the perfect sweet and salty vibe that is so craveable! It's just a small shop with a railing you can eat from but don't expect tables to sit at. It was exactly what we wanted (grab and go). My kids like the neon sign and the wall art, and my daughter loved the k-pop pictures on the wall and the tv playing k-pop videos. Cute and selfie worthy!

Excellent rice dogs. Made to order so it'll be a few min or longer if there's a wait but they're pretty quick. Tiny inside so either a stand and eat or take to where ever you're headed. 10+ sauces. Same store also sells Mochinut. Go! It's excellent and decently priced!

I stopped by chung chun rice dog for a snack and it did not disappoint!! It's definitely a grab n go spot since the place itself is quite small and there's just a few counter seats. They did decorate a corner cutely and had kpop playing on the tv (after I arrived?). I ordered the #16 Spicy Half&Half (Half Mozzarella, Half Spicy) and was surprised at how much I liked it! I also ordered a strawberry mochinut and together the total was about $11. I ended up getting full off these two items which makes it a really cost effective snack/meal. The corn dog took about ~7 minutes to fry and I got a good cheese pull out of it! The sausage part also did have a good spiciness to it. Overall, the prices are fair and the corn dogs are yummy! I wish the space itself was cleaner/bigger and made to sit down but it's fine as a quick place to grab something. The menu was quite extensive and I want to come back to try adding hot cheetos!

I thought that the potato mozzarella dog was good but I also feel like it tasted like others I've had so it didn't really make up for how long it took for me to get it. But if you happen to be in the area & they are not busy I think it's worth it.

Highly recommend Chung Chun! This is a must when friends come to town. Every time I go grocery shopping in ID, I'm sooooo tempted to drop by. - We ordered the "Potato Hot Dog", which you can roughly imagine is french fry bits glued onto a corn dog. Crispy french fries too. They have a spicy mayo that I love to pair it with -- not too spicy, and all the creamy tasty bits. - The wait is surprisingly longer than you might expect. All the dogs are made on the spot, and there is always a line. So if you're eyeing this location, make sure to allot 30 minutes or so! - There is another Chung Chun location in SLU with no wait. (For what it's worth, Chung Chun is a chain and not a franchise, so no business owners are hurt with this pro tip :p) - The shop faces a small street, neighbors with bakeries and across the street from Chengdu food. There's a lot for parking right across the street, and Uwajimaya is just a block down. Nice area for eating and grocery shopping! Can't go wrong with any of their dogs!

Not sure where to start here, it's a small unassuming little restaurant with Mochinuts, K-Hot Dogs, and a penchant for BTS decor (which was super cute). I had seen it before a few times when in CID and my partner wanted corndogs so we went there and tried them (my first time). And I'm a fan of corndogs over regular hot dogs any day and these were so much more than just corn dogs. I had the Sweet Potato and Squid Ink dogs. They have an array of different sauces to spread on these "dogs" and the Garlic Honey sauce was a perfect pairing for the sweet potato and the delicious savory squid ink with half cheese half dog went perfectly with ranch. The service was quick and efficient and the price was so reasonable for two people and was very filling. A delicious treat to try for sure

Stopped in for a quick bite as I was walking around the ID. Decided to try a Ramen noodle hotdog and it did not disappoint. The hotdog was cooked well with a crispy coating that was super crunchy with ramen noodles around it. The combination went well together and the sauce added even more flavor. There were a lot of different options and can't wait to try more. There were also donuts which I will have to try next time. The staff are friendly and make the order quickly. However. When it's busy, it can get crowded but there is room to wait outside and they will call your number when your order is ready.

These dogs on a stick are great, not perfect. Don't expect it to be a fast alternative to other places in the area as they make these fresh to order. I can't think of a time I didn't have to wait for them to cool down before I could eat. Over the years they have made minor adjustments to their establishment. For now when you come it, it's a very small shop with minimal standing / eating room the only place to eat is a medium bar counter along the back wall which is also where the lines spills into when it's overflowing. They have many ways to order which does help. Especially when you think you have to wait for the main register then walla a random kiosk right by the front door and another by the counter. This does come at a price of service, I feel like I'm in some automated shop with a server that's just there for backup. The staff is also very young on average. It's kind of fun to simply just people watch while you wait on the food. They have a larger cut out window that lets you easily see what's going on in the kitchen. So many hotdogs. Yes they have expanded their selection over the years and have over a dozen varieties. From pork, chicken pork, and beef. They also have many self serve sauces that are very yummy and even unique for hotdogs. One thing that threw me off was, they are also the donut shop which I don't remember also being here. I actually accidentally passed by the shop more than once because I didn't realize they were also the donut shop. There's a lot going on in this location so be ready. And be sure to order ahead of time if you don't want to be awkwardly waiting for 20 minutes in a hit and tiny shop with 8 high school kids, 2 family of 5s, and the few locals trying to just get a quick snack.
